About Light In Darkness Ministries
Light in Darkness Ministries was incorporated in 2018 as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our main purpose is to lead people to the Light. Light is not a place or a thing. Light is a person. Jesus said “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (Jn. 8:12 NIV). Light in Darkness Ministries’ goal is to let our “light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Mt. 5:26 NIV).
What we do
Statement Of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1), His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), His sinless life (1 Peter 2:22), His miracles, His death on the cross to provide for our redemption (1 Peter 2:24), His resurrection (1 Corinthians 4-6) and His ascension into Heaven (Luke 24:51).
We believe man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), but because of sin was separated from God (Isaiah 59:2). We believe we can be reconciled to God by accepting His gift of salvation through faith (Romans 10:9-11) which was made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection. This faith will be evidenced by the works that we do (James 2:17, 26).
We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28: 19-20).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of shame and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:1-2).
